*Socatoa nonchalantly walked into the arena, swinging her staff above her head.*
Shall we?

A lone figure walked into the sandy pit, a confident look on her face and a twinkle in her green eyes. The female river oter was clad in her usual garb of a sleevless green vest and black breeches, though black leather bracers now graced her foearms to protect them from any blows. Taking out her daggers, she held the right blade pointing up and the left blade pointing down in her paws, a style that she most prefered when fighting.
Sizing up her opponent and noticed the staff in her paws. Such a weapon could be both an advantage or a disadvantage to both of them. "Shall we?" her opponent said. Crouching low with a small grin, Riverose took her ready stance.
"Aye, let's do this"
Without further words, Riverose sprinted forward and slached out at a diagnal angle running from Socatoa's left shoulder to right hip, while her left pawed dagger remained ready for a defense

Aye, Let's Do this.
*Socatoa saw the blade coming toward her, so she performed a vertical block. Having defended, Soca went on the offense and attempted to do a vertical strike to her opponents head.*

Riverose gritted her teeth as her blade made contact with the staff. Her opponent was quick on her paws, as she had just found out. Watching the staff come down vertically at her head, Riverose dodged by diving down to Socatoa's left and rolling back on her paws, though that was after the wood knicked her own left footpaw. Regaining her balance, the otter launched her body forward to close the distance between herself and the other otter, lashing out at her opponents torso with the left blade and the left calf muscle with her right blade.

*Socatoa jumped to the side quickly and winced as Riverrose's blade made slight contact with her left calf. She had narrowly avoided the blade to the stomach. She could see this female was a formidable;e opponent. Biting her lip, she twirled the staff and tried to jab the otter's stomach.*

As Socatoa moved to the side, Riverose stood in her fighting stance, satisfied with her blades contact. As Socatoa's staff came jabbing at her stomach, Riverose crossed her blades and parried downwards, side-stepping to the right, she slashed at her left shoulder.

*Soca leaped backwards, avoiding the deadly blade. She quickly twirled her staff and attempted to trip Riverrose.*
